Spring 2026 Updates

After an unusually mild winter, the riding season is now in full swing! We spent the off-season focused on scaling our operations to better serve our riders. As we added new digital resources, launched a webstore, and expanded our fleet, we realized we had officially outgrown our home garage.

So...we have moved into a larger shop in the historic section of Draper. We now have room to grow while not losing the close-knit community feeling that we love. While we have more updates still pending, we are ready for our most ambitious riding season yet. Read on to learn more about our new location, expanded inventory, and the gear we're stocking for the year ahead!

More rider resources!

We’ve added two new sections to our website to provide more than just bike listings; we want it to be a comprehensive planning resource for your next ride. Our two newest sections are designed to help you visualize your journey and discover the best of the Mountain West.

This section acts as your high-level inspiration hub. Whether you are looking for the red rock vistas of Moab and Arches National Park or the high-alpine forest loops of the Uinta Mountains, the Destinations page helps you choose the right region for your riding style. It provides the "where" so you can begin narrowing down your target territory.

If Destinations tells you the "where", the Routes page provides the "how". We have moved our route recommendations from embedding them in blog posts into their own dedicated space. You'll find our favorite hand-picked paths both on and off-road. Each route has technical ratings, information on points of interest, fuel stops, and hidden gems, and time and mileage estimates.

With these new resources, we hope to take the stress out of planning so you can explore new roads and points of interest.

More bikes!

Winter is the best time to buy motorcycles, and we found three exceptional pre-owned machines to add to our fleet, bringing us to eight rentable motorcycles. These additions allow us to better accommodate group bookings and offer a wider variety of motorcycles to suit our customers' preferences.

A straightforward and rugged machine, this updated classic is well-suited for riders who want a reliable bike capable of reaching remote corners of the backcountry. Already outfitted with protection guards.

A capable, heavy-duty explorer, featuring a sophisticated electronics suite and the power to manage long-distance highway miles and technical dirt with ease.

A smooth triple-cylinder engine and high-end touring features make it a solid choice for riders looking for all-day comfort.

Whether you are looking for the technical capabilities of the Africa Twin or the reliability of a KLR, our expanded inventory is maintained to a high standard to support your time on the road.

More goodies!

We’ve launched an e-commerce shop at utahtouring.com/shop to make it easier for riders to access affordable, durable gear for motorcycle camping and touring. We're not aiming to compete with major retailers; our inventory has a heavy emphasis on supporting Utah-based businesses and smaller US brands. Instead of a massive catalog of generic items, we’ve curated a selection of high-utility products, tools, and accessories that we find valuable to bring on a multiday trip. We'll be testing these products throughout the season and reporting on their features and durability.

We offer flat-rate shipping across the United States, free shipping on orders over $100, and offer a no-cost "will-call" pickup option for local riders or those starting their rental with us.

Our goal is to be a curated resource for affordable yet durable gear that will stand up to the demands of riding in the Mountain West.

More space!

A garage filled with motorcycles and tools

We have officially moved our operations to a larger facility! For several years, we operated out of our home garage, but after our rental fleet grew to eight motorcycles alongside our four personal bikes, we simply outgrew the space. Moving to this new location only three miles from our home allows us to stay rooted in our local town's historic district while gaining the professional environment necessary for our expanding business.

The new facility features a three-car garage plus an attached office. It will serve as our new homebase for future workshops, route-planning sessions, meetups, and other community building activities. It will also have a dedicated area for packing & prep, and a small collection of physical products from our webstore.

This transition supports our growth into new products and events, ensuring we can continue to provide a high-quality experience as we scale. We don't have set business hours, so message us if you want to drop in and say hi!

Conclusion

As we take this baby step into our next chapter, our core mission remains the same - helping you experience the best riding the Mountain West has to offer. This year is about more than just expanding our fleet and floor space; it is about building a resource and a community for every rider who shares our passion for the open road.

We are incredibly grateful for the support that has allowed us to grow this far, and we can't wait to see you out there on the open road!
