As April showers give way to (hopefully!) sunnier skies, May is a great month for motorcycle touring and motocamping. Expect drying roads, warming temperatures, and crisp nights that are perfect for sitting around a campfire.
If you need new and interesting destinations to ride to, read below for some events, gatherings, and adventures taking place around the state.

Events
May 2-3, Price: Renaissance Fair. We wear armor, they wear armor. Same same, but different. There is also the Utah Ren Fest being held near Ogden several weekends this month!
May 3, Salt Lake City: Utah Humane Society's Bark at the Moon fundraiser. If there's one thing we love almost as much as motorcycles, it's dogs! Enjoy food trucks, brews, music, and furry friends at The Gateway. Tickets are $25 and support a good cause. Purchase tickets
May 16-18, Salt Lake City: Living Traditions Festival. This annual three-day event showcases authentic folk and ethnic arts, music, dance, and food from the diverse communities and cultures that call Utah home.
May 18, Salt Lake City: Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. Support men's health and look good doing it. If you need a dapper ride, our Bonneville T100 and Scrambler 400X would fit right in!
May 30 - June 1, Moab: Canyonlands PRCA Rodeo. If you are looking for a traditional Western experience in one of the state's most scenic regions, this one is for you.
National Park Information
So far, we have not seen major disruptions to National Park services. With reduced staffing, however, please note that there may be delays entering gated parks, increased crowds, or reduced services. Please be kind to park workers, they're doing their best!
Please take note of the following seasonal information.
Arches: Advanced timed entry reservations are required for entry from now until July 6. Make a reservation
Bryce Canyon: No advance reservations required
Canyonlands: No advance reservations required. However, traveling the White Rim Trail requires a backcountry permit
Capitol Reef: No advance reservations required
Zion: It is currently shuttle season. You cannot ride or drive the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive during shuttle season and must take a free shuttle instead. No advance reservation is required for the shuttle. There are other roads in and through Zion N.P. that can be ridden year-round.
Statewide seasonal roads
Wolf Creek Pass - Opened early!
The rest - Closed!
Roads that are not maintained during winter typically remain gated until at around mid-May, or June following a heavy snow year. UDOT is in the process of preparing these roads for their 2025 opening. If road gates are closed, do not attempt to pass through even if the roads appear to be clear.
