The Equinox Ursus Ultralite Bear Bag system offers an ultra-compact, lightweight solution for hanging food and scented items well out of reach of curious wildlife. Made in the USA from durable 1.1 oz silicone-impregnated ripstop nylon, this bag delivers a generous 1,300 cubic inches of capacity, which is plenty of room for several days' worth of food and camp kitchen essentials.
The complete kit includes the ripstop storage bag, a 50-foot hank of high-strength cord, and a "Rock-It Launcher" pouch to make throwing line over high tree limbs simple.
Why we like it:
An alternative to a bulky bear vault, this is a solution that let's you easily hang your food in a tree out of reach of bears. The entire system packs down and self-stows into its integrated outer pouch when not in use, saving space in your panniers.
